High-Visibility Marketing Opportunity for BCS Title Game

This January, Varsity Motor Coach returns to its two most successful events—the BCS Championship Game at the Louisiana SuperDome and the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show at Mandalay Bay. The company is offering an opportunity to make a major splash at the two most important events in Tailgating: a week in and around New Orleans, where a sponsor will be seen by hundreds of thousands of football fans, and three days in Las Vegas, where the Tailgating trade meets for its biggest event of the year.

The company's 40-foot super-luxury motor home is a familiar sight at major college football events and, thanks to its affiliation with ESPN, has made millions of indelible impressions. Varsity is seeking a primary sponsor for both events, with branding on both sides of the vehicle.

"The package includes a Pre-Game Party at the BCS Championship in a prime parking location," says Bill Rieckhoff, "which can be utilized for top customers, VIPs or contest winners. The motor coach will also serve as a mobile marketing campaign in New Orleans during BCS Week, and Las Vegas during Tailgate Show week—and as a bonus CES buyers will be in town that week, too."

According to Rieckhoff , sponsorship will also include product inclusion in the Licensed Sports Fashion Show, use of the vehicle and external entertainment plaza as a Networking Area during show, and a publicity campaign that creates top-of-mind awareness among 5,000–plus buyers who sell to tailgating consumers, and who tailgate themselves—as well as email blasts to more than 20,000 people in the tailgating industry.
