Attendees Making Final Plans for Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show
Las Vegas "To-Do" List Keeps Growing

With the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show just over the horizon (January 21-22-23), buyers are busy making last-minute tweaks to their shopping strategies. Between appointments, networking functions and plain old prospecting, a good chunk of each day is already spoken for.

But what of those precious extra hours? The show has provided plenty to keep attendees in the game.

The Tour de Force—where buyers shop the aisles with Sports Authority creator Jack Smith—may still have some spots open. You’ll get tips on how to merchandise some of the newest products on the market. Contact the show ASAP for more information on signing up, or sign up at Registration when you arrive at the show.

Wednesday evening, of course, is the show’s famous opening-night “after-party”—formerly the Ultimate Tailgate Party. This year it’s moved uptown to New York New York’s ROK Las Vegas Club, where Darryl “DMC” McDaniels will perform for attendees of the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show. You can pick up your VIP credentials at the Nokona Brand Apparel booth (#1301) or at the Show Office.

The Tailgating with DMC cocktail reception begins at 7:45 and is sponsored by Nokona Brand Apparel, HerGame2 and Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey.

The Why They Buy consumer focus panel, held at lunch on Thursday, is a can’t-miss event for anyone who buys or sells sports licensed products. Get the unvarnished truth about the likes and dislikes of super fans...along with a free lunch! Why They Buy begins at noon.

Don’t forget to pencil the Concept Shop displays into your itinerary. Located near the main stage area, it is chock full of innovative merchandising ideas for licensed products and tailgating store displays.

Last but DEFINITELY not least—and what you need to know to shop the show—is License to Buy. Look for Show Special coupons in your Floor Plan Directory, use them to write orders, and we’ll reward you with $$ toward your hotel and travel expenses.

Most important, on Friday the discounts and rewards in the License to Buy booklet are DOUBLED courtesy of the show. Stay for Day 3, write business with participating exhibitors and receive double the rewards.
