Hockey fans sometimes feel like they get the short end of the stick where licensed products are concerned. Not so this fall, thanks to Sher-Wood. The company is introducing a line of USB keys that come in the shape of a hockey player. Every NHL club is represented.

"This is what's going to be the hit of the new season," says Sean McKenna, Sher-Wood's Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "There are a lot of new customers that we are hoping to get on board that haven't carried any of our products."

McKenna is equally excited about another new product rollout from Sher-Wood: collectible mini-sticks. "There are not many of us that offer the types of products that we offer—silk screen pucks and mini sticks," he says. "And with our official game puck we obviously offer a piece that every NHL player plays with. They all have to use the puck and that's our piece. It creates a nice platform for us to offer replica products, such as replica hockey pucks with different logos and other types of collectables."

logoClearly, Sher-Wood knows hockey. The company has manufactured and distributed hockey gear and licensed products for 60 years. "We're pretty good at what we do," says McKenna. "When it comes to helping a player perform to his maximum level, that's what our pieces do."
