No Missing Pieces at R and R Imports
Great Photography Distinguishes NASCAR & College Lines
December 16, 2009

Puzzled by the myriad choices for NASCAR licensed products in 2010? Many a retailer is likely to start the shopping process with R and R Imports, Inc., which has made a name for itself in the industry by incorporating stunning photography into its product lines, which features everything from sun glasses, lighters, air fresheners to coasters, license plates, shot glasses and piggybanks. Oh, yes—R and R is also debuting a line of attention-grabbing NASCAR jigsaw puzzles.

The 550-piece puzzles, which retail for $14.99, are a natural follow-up to the company’s collegiate puzzles, released in 2009.

“They did really well,” reports Corban Battaglia, VP of Licensing. “They were nice stadium shots combined with school logos. With times being tough, puzzle sales are up. This was one of our top performers in ’09.”

Since the company started in 1995, it has distinguished itself for the imaginative ways it utilizes sports photography in its NASCAR and Collegiate novelty products. Buyers can expect to see more of the same at the show in Las Vegas, where Battaglia says that almost everything on display will either be brand new or less than a year old—including great-looking logo wall hangings with very attractive pricing.

“We strive to bring quality product to marketplace at an affordable price,” he adds. “That has helped us target the bread-and-butter NASCAR fan, who doesn’t have a ton of money but still wants something nice.”

Maintaining high standards is a key to the success of R and R. So is delivering the goods, both literally and figuratively.

“We pride ourselves on delivery”! A lot of our products are imported, so we use reputable factories to make sure it is manufactured correctly. Even so, on most products there are domestic capabilities also. We go to great lengths to make sure the retailer has product on time.”
