Perfect Cases Set for Debut at Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show
November 3, 2011
First-time exhibitors at the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show always create a buzz in Las Vegas. Among the new guys on the block in January will be Perfect Cases, a manufacturer that specializes in glass cases for sports memorabilia. "We're excited for the show," says company president Kurt Brown. "We've never been there before. It's a great opportunity to introduce Perfect Cases to the industry."
Of course, some in the sports memorabilia marketplace already know about the company. Perfect Cases can actually trace its roots back more than 30 years. The company is an offshoot of a nursery in Florida. "We made terrariums for plants of all kinds," says Brown.
When the economy took a turn for the worse after 9-11, Brown looked for a new direction to take his company. Perfect Cases was born. One thing that sets the company apart is its use of glass.

"The industry is loaded with acrylic cases," says Brown. "But glass provides so many more benefits. It doesn't scratch. Glass is forever."
Initially, Perfect Cases targeted consumers and sold directly to them. But Brown says the company has shifted its focus to retail. "Football is our most popular sport," he adds. "Our wall mounted cases have attracted a lot of interest lately. No one else does what we do."
Brown is eager to prove that in Las Vegas. "We invite all retailers and buyer to take a look at our entire line," he says. "Give your customers the choices offered by Perfect Cases. They won't be disappointed."
