The NFL labor problems are a concern for retailers everywhere. They're wondering the same thing as owners and players: will there be a backlash from fans when it comes to supporting the league with their hard-earned dollars? Arthur Hopkins thinks he has an answer. Hopkins is the Senior Director at GSE Incentives, the premium/promotional division of Genesco Sports Enterprises, Inc. His company recently rolled out the official apparel line from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

"We don't have to worry about the lockout," says Hopkins. "We're giving fans a way to relive their favorite players of all time."

Genesco Sports Enterprises, Inc. should be a familiar name to those in the sports marketplace. The Dallas-based sports marketing and consulting firm works with some of the major sponsors of the NFL.

"We're still in the process of introducing our Hall of Fame program to the industry," says Hopkins. "Initially, we're focusing on regional and national retailers. But we're also very eager to get into the smaller specialty accounts and looking for additional distribution channels."

The Hall of Fame collection from GSE Incentives features t-shirts, hoodies, caps and throwback cotton jerseys. All styles incorporate the Hall of Fame logo and offer a unique retro look. Retail price points cap out at around $25.

"We have 132 players signed, including Joe Namath, Deion Sanders, John Elway and Dan Marino," says Hopkins. "We're constantly adding new players. We have also launched a website, www.cantoncollection.com."

Hopkins believes the timing is perfect to launch the Hall of Fame program. "We're very excited," he says
